With a name like NAD(P)+ transhydrogenase, you might expect this to be a stonking bit of EBM - and youd be right.  You might also expect it to be perpetrated by four sharply dressed androids from Düsseldorf - and there youd be wrong, because it is in fact a side project of Cled Vlacik, the decidedly facially hirsute east European former keyboardist for pub rockers The Stamp Collectors.
Not a hint of those decidedly folky origins infects this cold, dark, ''brutalist'' masterpiece, however.  Vlacik concentrates on a dry, almost ''wry'' electronic atmosphere where mechanical screeches battle thundering bass for supremacy, and every track on this album delivers.  Settle down in your favourite wasteland, pour yourself a cool glass of machine oil, and prepare to be upgraded.  ★★★★★

Not a hint of those decidedly folky origins infects this cold, dark, brutalist masterpiece, however. Vlacik concentrates on a dry, almost wry electronic atmosphere where mechanical screeches battle thundering bass for supremacy, and every track on this album delivers. Settle down in your favourite wasteland, pour yourself a cool glass of machine oil, and prepare to be upgraded. ★★★★★
