Template:Gregorian serial date

This template gives the Gregorian serial day number, being the number of days from the start of 1 AD, ie monday 0001-01-01 = 1. (In the Gregorian Calendar there is no year 0.)

The arguments are year, month and day (if absent, current values are used).

For example, todays GSD is simply given by {{Gregorian serial date}}: 739723. The GSD of the Unix epoch is given by {{Gregorian serial date|year=1970|month=1|day=1}}: 719163.
