Category:Maths templates

Maths templates are templates that are used to perform calculations and/or present results. Some stand alone, while others are only intended for use by other templates.

List of maths templates

• Template:Choose - select a "random" number based on the time
• Template:Stats PowerLaw - convert a power law to a linear one according to x = factor * y ^ power; used to turn arbitrary ranges of numbers x into small integers y suitable for use in a #switch: statement
• Template:Stats PowerLawRev - convert a small integer y to a power law according to x = factor * y ^ power
• Template:Stats PowerLaw NextStep - given a value x and a power law (see above), return the increase needed in x in order to reach the next step in y
