Argentine Argentino - Across the Atlantic in a skiff
Own photo: Taken from the back of the Upper Circle (ye gods!) at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh, on 2008-01-12. The occasion was a performance of Sleeping Beauty by Scottish Ballet. Music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Attended with D+S. Photo taken with Fujifilm FinePix F31fd. Original size (that this was taken from): 1600 px x 1200 px. Processing was confined to a crop to 1200 px x 1200 px.
Font: Perpetua. The placement of the text, to face the row of audience members rather than to follow the angles of the proscenium curtain, is deliberate, to reflect the awkward viewing angle and sightlines of these ballet lovers high up in the cheapest seats.
