Little Bear - I contemplate opening my wrist
Review
Boston-based indie miserablists Little Bear are at it again. Their latest disc I contemplate opening my wrist is reminiscent of early Student and the Shoegazers, in an alternative (see what I did there?) universe where East London affairs take on a more mid-Atlantic twang. Anyone familiar with their last effort Pain as a condition of existence will (lyrical content notwithstanding) find no unpleasant surprises here, as it is much of the same; on the other hand, it doesnt offer much thats new either. Three stars. ★★★☆☆
